Stone slowly wears smooth, water slips through our fingers, the seasons change the landscape, and living beings transform.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Capturing movement \u2013 the paradox made possible by art. A work of art reminds us that nothing is fixed, except the image we retain of it.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Arts visuels de Gatineau invites you to explore the impermanence and metamorphosis of beings, nature, and human constructions. An&nbsp;<em>exhibition on the passage of time, the metamorphosis of beings and things\u2014in nature as well as within ourselves.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Call for Artists&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Arts visuels de Gatineau invites its members to submit a work for the group exhibition at Espace Pierre Debain, from August 26 to October 11 2026, at the Centre culturel du Vieux-Aylmer, 120, rue Principale, Gatineau.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Submission Guidelines<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Submit a recent, original, and unique painting or sculpture&nbsp;<strong>recent, original, and unique painting or sculpture by no later than 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 9, 2026,<\/strong>&nbsp;at the following address:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/artsvisuelsgatineau.com\/en\/product\/appel-de-propositions-pierre-debain-2026\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/artsvisuelsgatineau.com\/en\/produit\/appel-de-propositions-pierre-debain-2026\/<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Your submission must include:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">a photo of the work (min. 3 megabytes)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Your name<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">the title of the work<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">medium<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">the dimensions (h x w)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">the year of creation<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">the asking price<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">a short text (100 words max.) describing the work as it relates to the theme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>General Terms and Conditions for the Exhibition at Espace Pierre Debain, 2026&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Only members in good standing of Arts visuels de Gatineau may submit work for this exhibition.&nbsp;<a class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Members may submit only one 2D or two 3D artwork (12 x 12 inches base)<sup>2<\/sup>)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The submitted artwork must be original (no reproductions or copies) and recent (2 years).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The submitted work must reflect the required theme, \u201c<em>Nothing is still<\/em>.\"&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In order to submit the work, the member must pay the registration fee ($5) non-refundable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The jury\u2019s selection is
