The Objective <\/b>eis allowing the participants a chance to explore the art of animal drawing and painting. They will be given theory and demonstrations of different techniques and will get to practice either on their own or while being guided by the instructor.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Session structure:<\/b> 3 hours of theory and technique demonstrations, followed by guided and\/or individual practice.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Week 1 \u2013 Presentations, Observation and References:<\/b> presentations of the participants and review of the plan, and theory on reference images.<\/span><\/p>\n

Week 2 \u2013 Proportions, Sketches and Colour Testing:<\/b> theory and demonstrations on how to get the right proportions, sketching and explorations of the colours.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Week 3 - Steps, Things to Consider and Creation:<\/b> Review of the steps of the creation process, of the important aspects to consider during the creation, and beginning of the creation itself - fur.<\/span><\/p>\n

Week 4 \u2013 Drawing and Practice<\/b> :<\/b> Tips on how to draw realistic fur, and start of the final drawing.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Week 5 \u2013 Drawing:<\/b> Continuing the final drawing.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Week 6 \u2013 Perfecting the Drawing: <\/b>Continuing the drawing and adding the final details.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0Week 7 \u2013 From Drawing to Painting:<\/b> Theory on the differences between drawing and painting animals, new colour testing with the paint and transfer of the sketch onto the canvas.<\/span><\/p>\n

Week 8 -<\/b> Painting:<\/b> Application des techniques de fourrure avec la peinture, peinture finale.<\/span><\/p>\n

Week 9 \u2013 Painting:<\/b> Continuing to work on the final painting.<\/span><\/p>\n

Week 10 \u2013 Extra Tips: <\/b>Adding the finishing touch, if need be, and information about products and mediums to help with bigger projects, to bring the creation to the next level.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Level: This workshop is for beginner, intermediate, and slightly advanced participants.\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

Location: Chalet Jean-Ch\u00e9nier, 515 Jean-Ch\u00e9nier Street (Aylmer Sector)\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

Dates: Every Friday from September 25th to November 27th\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

Hours: 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

The workshop will be offered in French, but the instructor is bilingual.<\/b><\/p>\n

Regarding the instructor : <\/b>Audrey Grenier is a multidisciplinary artist from l\u2019Ange-Gardien. She specialises in animal drawing and painting, but she also works with photography and sculpture\/carving. She just finished her Baccalaureate in Visual Arts.
