“Showcases on Arts visuels de Gatineau”
We invite you to submit your application to exhibit one of your best works in one of the three display cases graciously provided by the Galeries de Hull, as part of the Spring 2026 edition of the Vitrines sur Arts visuels de Gatineau exhibition..
Important Dates
- Registration period: until March 3rd, 5 pm
- Exhibition period: from March 23rd to June 19th 2026
- Artwork drop-off: Saturday, March 21, 2026
- Artwork pick-up: Saturday, June 20, 2026
Exhibition Information
- This is an exhibition only (no sales are permitted).
- Artwork must remain on display for the entire duration of the exhibition..
Registration Fee: 5 $
Artwork Eligibility Requirements :
Two-dimensional artwork
- Minimum dimensions: 16 x 20 inches
- Maximum dimensions: 36 x 48 inches
- Dimensions must take into account the frame, if applicable.
- The artwork must:
- equipped with a hanging system (wire);
- framed or painted on the sides.
Three-dimensional artwork
- Maximum dimensions: 36 x 48 inches
- Must be able to stand securely on a pedestal of 12 × 12 in.
Only one artwork submission per artist is accepted and no refunds will be given.
Submission Requirements
Artists who are currently members of AVG must provide a high-quality photograph of the proposed work. The image must be at least 1920 pixels on the longest side. This image will be used by the selection committee. Any application that does not comply with the rules will not be considered.
