The instructor: Denise Bernard: I have been interested in textile fibers since childhood. After a period of integrating textile fibers with watercolor, I have been practicing felting for around fifteen years (needle felting, wet technique felting and nuno felting, which incorporates wool and other fibers on a wooden support). fabric, usually silk). I am particularly interested in what we call wearable art.
