As part of the 70th anniversary of Gatineau Visual Arts, we are offering monthly meetings. Our artists share their passions, their backgrounds, their interests, and their careers.

Raymond Aubin will discuss the role of artificial image generation in visual art. We will collectively define an artistic project and use the DALL-E generator to carry it out. Raymond will also present two experimental projects he completed using DALL-E. If time permits, we may also address copyright issues.

Level : This presentation is for all levels.

Location : Chalet Jean-Chénier, 515 Jean-Chénier Street, Gatineau (Aylmer sector)

Date : Wednesday, November 12.

Hours : 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

This presentation will be offered in French, but the instructor is bilingual.

Minimum of 11 participants.

About our host : Raymond Aubin is a professional visual, media, and digital artist. He has regularly presented his work in solo and group exhibitions in Quebec and Ontario. His works are also part of the City of Ottawa collection, the Loto-Québec collection, and the Global Affairs Canada collection. He has received a grant from the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec and was a finalist at the Culturiades en Outaouais. He has published four collaborative photography books. He regularly participates in arts evaluation committees and has been entrusted with exhibition curatorial assignments. For 30 years, he has served as an administrator for cultural organizations. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts and Design from the Université du Québec en Outaouais in 2008 with distinction from the Dean of Studies.
