Description
Week 1: Overview of the materials that you have purchased. Organization of your workspace. Theory: color wheel + exercise.
Week 2: Practice color mixing. Theory: techniques and textures using different media + exercise.
Week 3: Practice light and shadow. Theory: composition (abstract/figurative) + exercise.
Week 4: Create a work using the techniques learned.
Level : This workshop is for beginners.
Location : Chalet Jean-Chénier, 515 Jean-Chénier Street (Aylmer sector)
Dates : Saturdays September 20, 27 and October 4, 11.
Hours : 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
The workshop is offered in French, but the instructor is bilingual.
Maximum of 10 participants.
Cost for members: $72 (non-member $87)
Regarding the instructor : Emma Jacques holds a college diploma (DEC) in Visual Arts from Cégep de l'Outaouais and is currently completing her bachelor's degree in Visual Arts and Art History at the Université du Québec en Outaouais. Emma also holds the position of Programming Support at the AXENÉ07 artist-run center. She is the recipient of the Françoise Back Kollings Award for academic excellence.
