Description
This is a chance to learn about the HOW and WHY we frame artwork. We will talk about the materials that are required to keep your art safe; including mounting techniques, conservation materials, as well as what galleries and collectors are looking for when it comes to framing your works. There will be ample time for individualized questions, and I will provide a few framing demonstrations concerning matting and how we assemble a custom framing package.
This atelier is geared toward artists, with a few tips and tricks on how to keep the costs of framing as low as possible.
