Arts visuels de Gatineau invites its members to submit their candidature to exhibit one artwork in one of the three display windows generously made available by Les Galeries de Hull. Artists are encouraged to submit their strongest work.
Important Dates
Submission deadline: Until June 2 2026 at 5 pm
Artwork drop-off for selected artists: Saturday morning, June 20, 2026
Exhibition period: from June 22 to September 25, 2026
Artwork pick-up: Saturday morning, Saturday, September 26, 2026
Submission fee: $5 (non-refundable)
Artwork Eligibility Requirements
Two-dimensional artwork
- Minimum size: 16 x 20 inches
- Maximum size: 36 x 48 inches
- Dimensions must take in consideration the frame, if applicable.
- The artwork must:
- be equipped with a hanging system (metal wire);
- be framed or painted on the sides.
Three-dimensional artwork
Maximum height: 16 in
Must be able to stand securely on a pedestal of 12 × 12 in
Submission Requirements
Artists who are currently members of AVG must provide a high-quality photograph of the proposed work. The image must be at least 1920 pixels on the longest side. This image will be used by the selection committee. Incomplete submissions will not be considered.
